Synopsis
In the cataclysmic climax of the Ravenous Trilogy, fifty years have passed since the shattering battle at Elindryer between the redeemed betrayer Marlen and the indomitable Ravenous — but the shadows of destiny are far from faded. As the Northern Kingdom teeters on the brink of annihilation, Korrin Thale, the undefeated Champion of Varendore and a colossal force of unyielding might, charges into a fateful confrontation with Ravenous himself.
Meanwhile, the enigmatic Dawn Witch ascends, unleashing chaos that forces Ravenous to defy his own insatiable nature. Forging unlikely alliances from bitter foes, he assembles an army of unparalleled power to battle a primordial terror: Xytris, a cosmic abomination born from the same cataclysmic event that spawned Keldric and Ravenous. With Marlen’s fragile redemption hanging in the balance, can these sworn enemies unite to avert total oblivion, or will the final transformation of the god Aethon doom all realms to eternal devouring darkness?
Experience the pulse-pounding conclusion to Kurt Mather’s masterful dark fantasy saga in “The Final Transformation of Aethon,” where epic alliances fracture, cosmic secrets unravel, and the fate of worlds hinges on impossible choices. Perfect for devotees of sprawling grimdark epics like “Malazan Book of the Fallen” or “The Wheel of Time,” this thrilling finale delivers jaw-dropping battles, profound betrayals, and a transformative payoff that will haunt you long after the last page.

What readers whisper about The Final Transformation of Aethon
Absorbing and enthralling trilogy from a new author ……Definitely a narrative not to be missed
Just finished this, the last book in this epic and throughly enjoyable trilogy.
The story develops at such an accelerated pace that it’s almost impossible to put down.
The author, Kurt Mather, conveys constant excitement and suspense while taking us on this impressive dark fantasy journey.
He challenges ones imagination with the intricate plots, politics and fascinating, complex, supernatural characters and places.
He creates drama as he weaves reality, science and fact with magic and witchcraft. Sometimes it’s brutal, occasionally amusing, often sad and extremely thought provoking.
Is the evocative, emotional finale truly the end?
I hope not, there has to be more……Please.

The best so far
And yet again this just gets better and what, what an absolute rush, the author really lets himself go in this, humour and a more adult theme, thoroughly enjoyable, the claimant just is not what youd expect, the best of her three by far

Yes - - - what a way to finish
It got dark, and funny, never expected this humour in this book, but introducing the Korrin character really set this book on fire, what an absolute Gem, the best of the three by a country mile
